- With Election Day now less than two weeks away, a race that we spotlighted last week is now getting some serious national attention due to a just-released poll.
- Earlier this week, Channel 8, which teams up with The Hill and Emerson College, released its latest poll of the election season, looking at the tight race for Congress in Connecticut’s 5th Congressional district.
- The race is between 2-term Democratic incumbent Jahana Hayes vs. former State Senator George Logan.
- The poll showed that Logan, who in all previous polls was trailing Hayes, had caught her and was polling ahead by 1 point.

- We all know that polls are just a snapshot in time, but the release of the poll results demonstrate that this race is extremely close, and that more and more national attention will be paid to this race in the final weeks.
